tomboy days.

i have really been enjoying this quote as of late:

so i've made a goal to look for the little things that bring me happiness.

 the other day i reminisced way back to my second grade days. 

my best friend jaime was a tomboy, and i wanted to be just like her.

today, i looked at myself in the mirror and laughed a little bit about my old desires to be a tomboy.

because i had pink, lace, gold, and leopard on today.

and that's about as girl as they get.

but you know what? 

i've decided i like being a girl. i like being able to wear pretty things.

and today, that is a common thing that makes me happy.
