finals week tunes.

so it's finals week.

blegh. gross. 

i only have five more finals, one more presentation, and one 8 page paper to write.

but before i return to my studies,

i'll be home for christmas

so i've been singing this song everywhere lately...

in the shower. while riding my bike. in the kitchen.

it's probably because in only 12 days i will be on my flight home.

just being home with my family will be the best christmas gift ever.

because then i'll get to see these people that i love so much.

plus even more people that i love that i'm too lazy to find pictures of.

yay for almost christmas break!

now i just have to survive finals.

so last week blue scholars came to little laie to give us byuh students a good show.

they were super chill doods.

and you should most def listen to some of their tunes. 

cause they are also just super. super duper even.

there weren't a whole lot of students there,

so it was almost like a little private concert.

it was lots of fun to whip out my thug self for an evening.

cause let me tell you, i'm so thug it's ridiculous.

oh. and i love fun friends who put up with my non-thugness.

people are cool. i sure do like them.

all in all it was a good night.

a very goosebumpy day.

so first of all, mi madre and i went to the pcc today.

holy cow, i love that place.

and i really hope that i can get a job there.

but being there made me realize how truly blessed i am to have the opportunity to live on this beautiful island.

surrounded by a diverse array of beautiful people,

(can i get a woot woot for the men of the pcc?)

who have such a rich culture and heritage.

i may or may not have been one of the gooby tourists who teared up during the night show.

and had goosebumps all over the place.

so sue me.

it was uh-maze-ing. 

and for the second goosebumpy item of the day...

the song i and love and you by the avett brothers.

i seriously have listened to it like 50 times today.

i logged into my itunes account for the first time in a hundred years and much to my surprise i had an account balance of $15. 

happy birthday to me! or to the ground.

so i have also been listening to the new bon iver to cd.

and i am a little bit in love with it.

well this is now the longest post in life.

i love the randomness of my life.

which can be both a good and a bad.

this weekend it was a good.

we decided to have a mini roadtrip to vegas.

and we made an incredibly spur of the moment decision to go to a britney spears and nicki minaj concert.

random. random.

i mean brit and nicki aren't exactly on my most listened to playlist.

don't get me wrong, i love singing along with them,

but they're just not really in my scene.

however. the concert was a riot.

such great entertainment.
