jumping off cliffs like there's no tomorrow

so this has been the equation of my life as of late:

work + living at home + saving money for russia = no social life ever.

hence me never blogging about my fruitless existence.

okay, so maybe that's a little dramatic.

but the other day i did something super hard core 

to try to compensate for my recent lameness.

 seriously though.

this is possibly the number one coolest thing i've ever done:

that folks, is a ginormous rope swing that some friends of mine rigged up.

and in case you can't tell it's like 200 feet high.

so i just jumped off a cliff willy nilly like it was no big deal.

and i apologize for the "bloody hells" that slipped out of my mouth.

it was a little high.

i am bad at blogging

i was originally going to title this "big 'a' post",

but i decided that would be borderline inappropriate. 

so now that i've informed you of the semi-sketchy title that i almost did,

it's time to overwhelm you with a boat load of photos summarizing my summer thus far.

{dragged whit along for a couple of roadtrips}

{went to some lovely weddings}

{spent some time at the cabin with the beardall clan}

{went to lunch with some of my most very favorite people on the planet}

 {got to babysit the cutest kids ever for 10 days}

well there you have it.

it's been a pretty good summer so far.

and i told you it was a boat load of pictures.

my goal is not wait ten years between posts so,

hopefully this won't happen again.

and i'll be pleasantly surprised if you actually looked at all 47.

oh hey. i've been semi dead from the blogging world,

probably because my social life is really thriving right now. lies.

or it could actually be because i'm trying to set a record for most
modern family episodes and chick flicks watched in one week.

fyi, you should probably call guiness now, cause i'm going to be famous soon!

it's been a while since i've done a dear husband post, so here you go.

Dear future husband:

After a weekend crammed full of wedding festivities,
I have a few thoughts for you:

{1} let's make our wedding a crazy fun party. 

hopefully it will fill more like a celebration of love and less like a funeral.

{2] we should will have have lots of dancing. 

{3} i hope you have good taste in music.

{4} we should laugh alot and not be afraid to make fun of ourselves, 

i feel like this will be pretty easy because you'll probably be pretty hilarious, otherwise I won't marry you. 

 {5}i think you'll probably look real good in your suit.

{6} i hope you speed and use cruise control on all of the road trips we'll take together.

{7} lets make sure our kisses aren't smooshy and nasty.

{8} lets be capricious.

{9} let's blast music real loud and sing off tune all the time.

{10} i hope you're doing great things wherever you are, and think it will be pretty good when we meet in 4 or 5 years. that'll work perfectly with my plan.

i have a fun time at work.

so until about a week ago i had three jobs.
now it's down to two, and soon to be just one.

a) teaching swimming lessons.

b) working at a trampoline arena. blegh.

c) helping out tammy with whatever she needs.

basically i've been dealing alot with kids this summer.

it's a good thing i like them and they're so darn cute.

they are so cute, and feel free to be jealous at what my days are filled with,

because we have a pretty fun time.

i once again curse my empty wallet.

the lil' sis, madre and myself decided to go for a bike ride tonight.

you know, as preparation for when i bike to school every day...

in HAWAII.

but it kind of whooped my trash.

i need to get in shape and only have 23 days until i leave.

here are some things i have been loving the past few days.

and then some things that i am not loving as much.

(i know that loathe is a strong word, and maybe not entirely accurate for most of the below items.

but it's all i can think of.

love #1: boston emery mcmurtrey.

seriously, i love being an aunt already.

boston is perfect and the most precious little guy ever.

i seriously am surprised by how much i love him already.

i can't even imagine what being a mother must feel like.

plus i love the snuggle time i'd get with this little man every morning while his parents went back to bed.

he is the only man i need in my life. f'real.

some snuggle time in the early morning.

loathe #1: the fact that he lives in idaho, and i will soon live in hawaii.

i'll be much too far away!

love #2: exactly one month from today i will be on an airplane. headed to hawaii.

headed towards new adventures!

loathe #2: i still have close to no money saved for said adventures.

i am the worst at saving money. 

(sorry future husband)

love #3: spending my evenings with the lil' sis and her friend.

and taking pictures in the photo booth at the mall.

loathe #3: the fact that i have no social life.

but that's probably cause i've made no effort to even have one.

i'm socially lazy these days.

love #4: amaretto and maraschino cherry custard from frozen fusion.

new favorite thing.

loathe #4: how the heck am i supposed to get a good beach bod with yummy things like this?

curse delicious and fattening treats.

and double curse no self control.

loathe #5: the biggest loathe of all.

being nauseous and sick all the days long.

so i am now 20 years old.
